WEST HAVEN >> Police arrested a Center Street man on drug charges Friday morning after seizing about 500 grams of heroin and more than 529 grams of crack cocaine while executing a narcotics search warrant at his home, police said.
Eric Moody, 24, of 260 Center St., 3rd floor, was charged with numerous narcotics charges and held in lieu of $200,000 bail, police Sgt. David Tammaro said in a news release.
Police from the West Haven Police Street Crime Unit, after obtaining warrants, searched Moody’s vehicle and home, Tammaro said. In addition to the drugs, police found $955 in cash and various cooking, packaging and processing materials, the release said.
Officers also seized a Honda vehicle, the release said.
