NORTH HAVEN >> A Marlborough man was arrested early Tuesday after North Haven police say they found drugs in his vehicle during a traffic stop.
Jesse Bellobuono, 31, was also allegedly driving a stolen vehicle, police spokesman Capt. Kevin Glenn said later Tuesday in a release.
Glenn said officers pulled Bellobuono over at about 6 a.m. Tuesday on State Street after he allegedly committed a traffic violation.
Bellobuono was arrested after the vehicle was found to be stolen. The investigating officer also allegedly found heroin and packaging materials in the car.
Bellobuono was charged with second-degree larceny, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to obey a traffic control signal. He was held in lieu of $5,000 bail pending an appearance in Meriden Superior Court.
